The AMP Organization hopes to
create a positive, accepting and
artistic outlet to the LGBTQQIA
social networking, print, our
website and word of mouth.
We hope to inspire everyone
including artists, musicians,
performers, audiences and
organizations who lack the
community they crave, to
create one.

The AMP Organization is a
not-for-profit grassroots group
based in Long Beach, CA.
The AMP Organization promotes LGBTQQIA creativity, culture and community. In 2008,
AMP founder Annie M Parkhurst, created Cut&Paste Rock&Roll (CPRR), a music and art
festival which featured LGBTQQIA musicians, DIY artists and up and coming performers, in
response to the lack of alternative art culture in the large Los Angeles area gay community.
After 2 successful events along with an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, it was
clear that there was a need for this event and more of its kind, so the AMP Organization
was born. The AMP Organization now oversees CPRR, has created a LGBTQQIA movies
series, dance events, open mic nights and a monthly craft event all in the name of building
a stronger and more engaged community.
