Crafter Hours was designed in hopes to creating a safe and empowering place where youth
and adults a like can gather to participate in and experience art first hand while meeting with
neighbors and new friends in a fun and positive environment. Hosted at the Long Beach Gay
and Lesbian Center on 4th street approximately 15-20 participants will gather in a safe space
donated in kind to the AMP Organization for the Crafter Hours program. Each Crafter Hours
workshop will feature a different and unique craft or project presented and instructed by a
local area artist who is passionate about sharing the experience of constructing art in a variety
of mediums from the ground up.

The AMP Organization is happy to announce CRAFTER HOURS, a free craft workshop happening on
the first Thursday of every month at the Center of Long Beach. Each workshop will feature a local
queer artist, demonstrating their unique style and each crafter in attendance will be supplied with the
materials needed to create their own work of art.
