This is the first annual scholarship award presented by the AMP Organization. Funding for the scholarship came from the proceeds from the 2nd annual Cut&Paste Rock&Roll LGBTQIA music and art festival held in February and from personal donations. Long Beach CA - Cut&Paste Rock&Roll is pleased to announce the 2010 Queer Youth Scholarship winners. After much deliberation and extensive review by key Long Beach based LGBTQIA community members, Cut&Paste Rock&Roll selected the following applicants for this year’s awards:

The Queer Youth Scholarship Awards were presented to the winners on June 30, 2010 at 9pm at the Art Theatre of Long Beach located at 2025 E. 4th Street. The award ceremony was held prior to the screening of “But I’m Cheerleader” the first film scheduled for the new movie series put on by Mondo Celluloid and the AMP Organization both Long Beach based nonprofit groups passionate about the artistic community they serve.
